Effective date: September 1, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how NoVex Trade collects, uses, and shares information when you use novextrade.com, the Dashboard, and related services.

1. Who We Are

NoVex Trade ("we," "us," or "our") provides financial literacy courses for first-year tradespeople through Lessons, Courses, Checks, Workshops, and Dashboard tools. This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, free Apprentice members, paid members, and Organisation administrators using Crew seats.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from payment processors.

• Account and contact information: Name, email address, phone number if provided, password, craft or trade selection, billing address, and Organisation name for Crew orders.
• Payment information: Processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment, plan type, and billing status, not full card numbers stored on our servers.
• Dashboard activity: Plan tier, Lesson and Course progress, Checks results, seat assignments for Crew, and settings you save in the Service.
• Numbers you type: Paycheck figures, deduction lines, budget splits, and other amounts you enter in Dashboard tools. We do not connect to banks, payroll systems, or retirement accounts.
• Communications: Messages you send to support, opt-in choices for email or account notification texts, and feedback you submit.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referral URLs, and cookies or similar technologies described below.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including Lessons, Courses, Checks, Workshops, and Dashboard tools.
• Process enrollments, renewals, seat assignments, and customer support requests.
• Send transactional messages such as receipts, account notices, and password resets.
• Send account notification texts only if you opt in with clear consent.
• Analyse usage to fix errors, understand feature adoption, and develop new content.
• Protect the Service, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with law.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us host the site, process payments, send email or SMS, and provide analytics, under contracts that limit use to our instructions.
• Organisation administrators for Crew seats, limited to seat assignment and cohort progress needed to manage your enrollment.
• Legal and safety recipients when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers if we merge, acquire, or sell assets, subject to this Privacy Policy or notice to you.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some Dashboard features.

6. Account notification texts

If you opt in to account notification texts, we collect your mobile number and consent record. We use your number to send account notification texts about billing, renewals, payment failures, login, verification, and support replies you started.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not required to purchase. Phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared for marketing. See Section 4 for how we share data with service providers.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and billing records as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Dashboard entries you type may be stored with your account so you can return to them. You may request deletion subject to exceptions required by law or legitimate business needs.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong password and keep credentials private.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact support@novextrade.com to submit a request. We may verify your identity before responding.

You may opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message. You may opt out of account notification texts by replying STOP to any message.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
